![]() Nautique - I vacillate between thinking it’s worth every penny or slightly overpriced. Likely the best “out of the box” beast wave you will ever encounter. My opinion is this:Ĭenturion - Amazing surf wave. We went with the Nautique for a variety of reasons, first was the engineering, and then the customization of the surf wave and wakeboard wake. I will say I may be biased since I’m in love with our G, but I am objective in some ways. We did a demo of most of the staple wake boats. We purchased our 2019 Nautique G23 last year. Like the other comments are saying, never buy without demoing. ![]() With mastercraft you need to keep finding that right setting as you add more people. Once the nautique is setup, that's it, press a button and go. There customization for each rider and wake options is pretty amazing IMO. They are up to date on the tech, their tab system and ballast is seamless, and their overall design is very user friendly and flows really nice. Nautique, IMO, tops the best boat as of now. Definitely feels like a second tear boat trying to compete with the top tear. the problem I have with it is that you are getting less tech and design for the same price or close to mastercraft and nautique. Amazing boat and great wake, they are just 3-5 years behind on engineering. That is the only downside to mastercraft. There integrated screens are known to overheat and everything seems to be placed in the mastercraft just because they wanted it there. However, the real question comes down to price (Obviously) and how user friendly the boat is going to be with electronics and as the driver. Like I said, when it comes to wake, all of the boats are going to give you what you want. Malibu has a superior surf tab system then mastercraft. Mastercraft comes in second IMO but only because mastercraft can produce a larger wave then Malibu. ![]() Natuique takes the top spot on surf wave and ballast configuration. However, wakesurfing is going to be a little different. When it comes to pure wake and engineering all of the flagship boats are going to be a great choice. I have rode behind mastercraft, natuique, malibu. I also was at the boat show the other weekend.
